Facial care


  • Mix six-teaspoon petroleum jelly, two-teaspoon glycerin and two-teaspoon lemon juice. Apply this moisturizing lotion at least twice a week if you have dry and flaky, arms and legs.
  • Avoid using heavy cosmetics as they after all destroy your natural looks.
  • For natural looks: Combine fresh green vegetable juices such as cucumber, celery, kale, parsley, spinach, and a little bit of apple for a delicious taste, into a juicer.
  • Just use regular cold cream to remove oil-based makeup.
  • If you have oily skin, use very little moisturizer or, if possible, none at all. Too much moisturizer on oily skin can cause makeup to slide away.
  • When removing makeup, take a Q-tip which has been dipped in a non-oily remover and run it over the eyelashes to take off any remaining mascara.
  • Mix coconut oil and almond oil in equal quantity. Apply a coat of this on the lips and leave on overnight. This has to be done daily for at least two weeks for best results.
  • With oily skin, avoid toners that contain alcohol as these can dry out the skin and block impurities beneath the surface. To avoid over drying the skin use toners containing AHA's. They help to smooth the skin's texture.
Dark Circles Around Eyes get rid off
  • Generally dark circles are due to some factors such as : Regular tv watching more than normal hours or working with computers.
  • Avoiding nutritious diet
  • Tension or mental problems
  • Lack of sleep
Prevention:
  • Go to bed early and tension free
  • Yoga exercises to get rid off tensions
  • cold compresses and plenty of fibrous food in your diet.
Wrinkles

As we all know that wrinkles are due to age, but sometimes they occur during young age also.
  • To protect oneself from wrinkles one should try to avoid sun rays and keep skin well-protected from UV ray exposure
  • Eat lots of fruits, vegetables and fish that are rich in vitamins and minerals that fight the development of free radicals in the body.
  • For tone up of skin drink water and fruit juices and avoid too much black tea and coffee.
  • Sufficient rest and keep away any kind of stresses.

Some home remedies:

Mash 1/4 banana until very creamy in a small quantity of milk and then spread it all over face and leave for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water followed by a dash of cold.
