Nails are also a part of beauty element in the body and we must care for them, here are some of the nail caring and beauty tips. On average, your nails grow about 1/8 of an inch per month. There are some tips to keep healthy nails and also how to apply nail polish. Just have a look

For healthy nails :

Problems:
  • The nail can be damaged by nail-biting, scratching the nail folds, bad manicuring , or trauma.
  • Body weakness or less of proteins and calcium in diet
  • Working area

Solutions for healthy nails:

  • Avoid using your nails as tools. This means no picking, scratching, digging, pinching.
  • Increase the amount of calcium in your diet.
  • Wear rubber gloves when you do chores that involve continual submersion in water or contact with harsh detergents or chemicals.
  • Increase your intake of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, calcium, folic acid, protein, Vitamin B12, and zinc in food.
  • To avoid nails splitting, always use a moisturizer after washing your hands, and try taking some vitamins to make the nails stronger.
  • Wear nail polish on longer nails frequently, either colored or clear, to re-enforce the nail.

Nail Polish Tips

  • Start with a base coat to strengthen and protect the nails.
  • Choose the best branded nail polish for your nails.
  • When painting nails, color the very tip of the nail first. This makes the color last longer.
  • To avoid bubbles in your nail polish, roll the bottle between your hands. Do not shake as this is what causes the bubbles.
  • Store nail polish in the refrigerator to maintain a smooth consistency.
  • Speed drying by dipping nails in ice water.
